CAVITATION – ULTRASONIC LIPOSUCTION

Ultrasonic cavitation of fat cells is a method of partially removing fat deposits and cellulite using ultrasound.
It is a non-invasive and painless therapy that allows the body to be reshaped quickly, safely and effectively. Fat deposits in the subcutaneous tissue are broken down, which directly results in a reduction in the circumference of the treated part of the body.
The principle of cavitation
To explain cavitation in the simplest terms, remember that the evaporation of a liquid depends on pressure. The lower the pressure above the liquid, the lower the temperature at which it boils, and vice versa. A reduction in pressure can be brought about by ultrasound waves. Lowering the pressure causes the liquid (water) to boil (evaporate) and vapour bubbles to form.
Given that two thirds of the human body is water, when this phenomenon occurs near the cell membrane of a fat cell there is a high probability that the membrane will rupture. Whether the process described will occur depends on the amount of fatty tissue, the condition of the fat cells and the amount of intercellular fluid. Damaged cell membranes of fat cells will rupture more easily in the next treatment if the interval between treatments is not too long.
Fat from the fat cells is released into the intercellular space in the form of triglycerides, where enzymes break it down (lipolysis) into glycerol and free fatty acids. The released glycerol, which is water-soluble, enters the metabolic processes for producing energy via the lymphatic system, while the insoluble fatty acids travel to the liver, where they are broken down like any other fatty acid taken in with food.

The principle of electrostimulation consists of stimulating the nerve fibres by means of electrical impulses transmitted through electrodes. The electrical impulses produced by the stimulator are high-quality impulses that offer safety, comfort and effectiveness and allow various types of nerve to be stimulated.

RADIOFREQUENCY LIFTING

Radiofrequency (RF) energy stimulates the production of new collagen molecules in the skin and the reorganisation of existing ones, restoring its firmness and elasticity. The resulting changes remove the signs of ageing from the skin: fine lines and wrinkles, sagging skin (particularly pronounced in the middle third of the face and along the jawline and chin) and loss of tone across the whole face.

How does RF energy act on the skin?
The Pixel RF module rejuvenates the skin and corrects its irregularities with an ablative laser head, creating micro-injuries in the skin in the form of micropores. Is the area around the eyes treated?
With this form of radiofrequency energy it is also possible to rejuvenate the periorbital region, i.e. the area around the eyes, using a special tip designed for the purpose. This gives a non-invasive lift to the upper eyelids and eyebrows and removes wrinkles at the outer corners of the eyes.
What does the facial lifting procedure involve?
Before the procedure itself, the patient keeps a cream containing a local anaesthetic on the area to be worked on for 30 minutes. The procedure is carried out by a doctor trained to work with the Pixel RF module of the Alma platform.
How long does the procedure take and is there a recovery period?
Duration of the procedure: 30 minutes. The recovery period after the procedure is 7 days. After the procedure the patient is required to follow the instructions given by the doctor during the recovery period and to use SPF 50 protection every day. Treatments are repeated at two-week intervals in order to achieve a cumulative effect.
